Litsoft Successfully Passed CMMI Level 5 Pre-accreditation

Litsoft Successfully Passed CMMI Level 5 Pre-accreditation on December 22, 2006. It represented Litsoft took another significant step to become a top software service provider.

To continuously improve capabilities of software process management and competitiveness in the international market of software services, Litsoft has been working on process improvement, especially in quantified organization-level process improvement for business objectives, since we passed the CMM 4 accreditation in February 2004. After two years of practice and accumulation, Litsoft started preparation for CMMI 5 accreditation in April 2006.

CMMI level 5 is the highest level in the CMMI staged model. Passing the CMMI 5 accreditation means the organization can do quantified management and process improvement to maximize benefits and continuously improve organization process capabilities.

SEI senior lead assessor Paul Iredale spent 5 days in Litsoft on document inspection and interview and judged Litsoft has met the requirement of CMMI 5 in fields of software process and practice.

The formal accreditation will start on January 2007. We strongly believe that Litsoft will pass the formal CMMI level 5 accreditation in March 2007. We will provide better services to our clients in future.
