CCTV Office Automation system

 

Introduction

The general target of CCTV Office Automation project is to setup a system in the LAN of CCTV. The system provides various office applications for the users to assist their daily office work. It also connects different separated information islands and integrates them together to strengthen the internal management, improve the work efficiency and assist the analysis and decision. The sustainable improvement and development of business information systems have facilitated the uninterrupted expansion and perfection of information systems with the business growth.

Technical features

  • The system is based on B/S architecture. It's convenient to use and maintain.
  • The system complies with the J2EE criteria.
  • The system is base on component technology and is composed of separate components to insure flexibility and extensibility.
  • This system is based on HTTP protocol and supports connection with other network systems. It's independent of the operating system of the users.
  • Customizable workflow sub-system.
  • Integration of the existing systems and existing information.
  • The system uses firewall, security protocols and authorization management to guarantee the safety of the applications and the information.
  • The system integrates all the modules/sub-systems together and provides a unified access user interface in the Portal page.

System architecture

The system has five layers, namely User Interface Layer, Application Layer, Interface Layer, Application Support Layer and Database Layer. The workflow engine used in the Application Support Layer was developed by Litsoft. It is suitable for different types of workflow applications and is used by the China Development Bank and Beijing Olympic Games Organizing Committee. The following is the system architecture of the system.
