The latest technology used for complex structure imaging is the 3-D wave-equation pre-stack depth migration imaging, which combines the fields of geophysics, geology and computer technology. Pre-stack depth migration imaging represents the future trend for seismic exploration technology and is the subject of cutting edge research in the field of geophysics.

Complex Geology Imaging System of Sinopec's Shengli Oilfield
        We have designed and developed a complex geological imaging system, STSeis 2.0, for Shengli Oilfield Geophysical Research Institute. The STseis seismic imaging software system adopts a parallel wave equation three-dimensional pre-stack depth migration imaging software system based on large-scale micro-computer clusters.

The core technology of this software consists of hree-dimensional pre-stack time migration technology, wave equation three-dimensional pre-stack depth migration technology (including Kirchhoff pre-stack depth migration) and three-dimensional migration speed analysis and interactive modeling technology.
